Walking

If you enjoy walking, you cannot come to a better place than Berwick st James. You can walk for miles in every direction! There are many footpaths, bridleways and droves across the downs. Stonehenge is four miles by a lovely walk, and you can walk to Salisbury if you wish. If you just want fresh air and open spaces, the world is your oyster! Return and relax in my garden by the river, or walk along the bank to the excellent Boot Inn. Booking recommended, and check opening hours!
